Soil Nutrient management
Micronutrients
Micronutrients are essential elements that are used by plants in small quantities. Without these nutrients plant nutrition would be compromised leading to potential declines in plant productivity. Essential micronutrients include boron, copper, iron, manganese, zinc, and molybdenum. For some plants, chloride or nickel may be important. Elements like cobalt sodium, silicon, and selenium are also considered beneficial, as they may not impact plants directly but can affect processes in the soil that have an impact on plant growth and development.
